Ivan Kenny PhD is a part-time lecturer in Spanish at the University of Galway. His research interests are broadly focused on mid-twentieth century Mexican cultural production with a particular emphasis on gender and spatiality in the works of Luis Buñuel and Juan Rulfo. Other research interests encompass spatiality in Julio Cortázar’s short fiction. He has published articles in the Hispanic Research Journal, the Bulletin of Hispanic Studies and the Journal of Latin American Cultural Studies.
