Dr Andrea Ciribuco is CAROLINE postdoctoral fellow at the School of Languages in the University of Galway, co-funded by the Irish Research Council and Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions. He is the author of The Autobiography of a Language: Emanuel Carnevali’s Italian/American Writing (SUNY Press, 2019). His current project investigates language and translation in the experience of asylum seekers in contemporary Italy.
